ROCKin’teriors Visit

The day before Betsy and I went on our Europe trip, the Distinctive Remodeling design team – Stephanie Ferguson, Leslie Cohen, Michelle Bonds & I took a field trip to see ROCKin’teriors showroom and fabrication facility in West Raleigh. Owner, Laura Grandlienard, and I have known each other for close to 20 years. Shop manager, Omar Salazar, used to work for me many years ago. It was great to catch up with both of them. Deanna Werner gave us a tour of the showroom, then Omar showed me some of the processes they use in the fabrication shop. They run a top-notch facility and have more certifications than any countertop fabricator that I have seen. Their attention to detail is second to none.

We will be hosting an AID designer’s meeting about Outdoor Kitchens at their showroom in June for some CEU credits. Marni Corley, our Danver Stainless Outdoor Kitchens rep, will be teaching the seminar. Continuing education by our team and our subcontractor team helps keep us on the cutting edge of design, technology, and trade related information. We do this not just because we love our job, but to help us bring the best solutions to our customers.
