Happy Father’s Day!

To all the fathers and Step fathers out there, I hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day on June 19th . As my girls get older, it is really cool to see little glimpses of when they appear to have learned something from me. For example, Sarah was at my shop the other day, and asked to build a new headboard for the bed she is going to use in her apartment this fall. I said, “sure, we can do that, but what is the first thing you need to do?” I was so proud when she said, “draw the plans”. I have only told her that a hundred times while growing up and doing school projects. My saying is “plan your work, work your plan.” Have a wonderful Father’s Day, and maybe your kid will make you smile!
