Another Kitchen Casanova Appearance!

On Nov 4th, Betsy and I went to the home of Brad Wasserman and Scott Graves to cook up some dinner for them and some friends. We broke out a new Shrimp Scampi recipe from America’s Test Kitchen and it is replacing the old scampi recipe I previously had on our website. It is this months featured recipe. The evening started with Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, then onto our famous Spinach Apple Salad with Maple Vinaigrette, a main course of shrimp scampi and sautéed asparagus. And we finished off the dinner with fresh and hot apple pie a la mode.

While it got rave reviews, it paled in comparison to the outstanding whole house remodeling project that the Distinctive Remodeling team did. Scott, as usual, did an great job selecting finishes and interior design items. We are in the process of loading the pictures on Houzz.com, so stay tuned for those.

This is the second whole house remodel we have done for Scott & Brad. 5 years earlier, we had done a remodel on their home on Hudson St. This house had some layout challenges, and most of their friends had thought they had lost their minds by buying it. But by working together, those challenges were overcome to create a warm, inviting home, ideal for entertaining. Thanks to Brad & Scott for entrusting us to help make this house their home. Congratulations to project manager, Bob Hillesland, and all of our team members that helped make this an outstanding project.
