WHY COOK INSIDE WHEN YOU CAN COOK OUTSIDE?
At a minimum, an outdoor kitchen should have a charcoal or gas grill, eating areas, counter space for food preparation, undercounter shelves for storage, and hooks for hanging tongs, spatulas, forks and other grilling utensils. A fully-equipped, customized kitchen can include air-tight storage cabinets, sinks, and a refrigerator. Storage cabinets are often constructed with masonry block and finished with stucco or ceramic tile. Stainless-steel sinks are a good choice as they won't corrode over time. Undercounter refrigerators are popular for outdoor kitchens because they’re out of sight and handy. Whether you desire a kitchen that accommodates food preparation, cooking, and serving or a simple outdoor fireplace for roasting hot dogs and making s’mores, the design of your outdoor kitchen depends completely on how you’ll use this space. Before we draw up any design plans, we’ll talk with you about your needs, wants, preferences, and future plans. As with all of our remodeling and renovation projects, your input drives the design.
